Sanlawr Haven is located between two beautiful mountain ranges at the base of the Tuscarora Mountains. Seasonal area activities include- the Strawberry Festival (second week of June), Fulton County Fall Folk Festival (third week in October), skiing, country auctions, golf, antiquing, flea markets, dining, fishing, outlets, Berkeley Springs Spa, the Potomac River, C & O Canal Towpath, hiking, biking, and more!

We are conveniently located 3 miles off of the PA Turnpike (Route 76) and 7 miles from Route 30. Sanlawr Haven is 22 minutes from Cowen’s Gap State Park, 40 minutes from Whitetail Ski Resort, 45 minutes from Chambersburg, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Raystown Lake, and 1 hour and 45 minutes from Happy Valley (Penn State University).

Robert and Rose Martin, are a laid-back and genuine couple from Adams County, PA. They purchased the 100-acre McConnellsburg property in 2019 from Mike and Linda Crampton. The Crampton's previously owned and operated the property as a bed and breakfast under the name Crampton Manor. Since purchasing the property in July 2019, the Martins have taken on the task of maintaining the property as a beautiful rental property, as well as a wedding venue and event space. When Robert and Rose aren’t working on projects at Sanlawr Haven, Robert holds a position as the executive maintenance manager for mobile home parks, while Rose works for the Adams County Tax Office. They plan to retire in the next five years, and are elated to share their tranquil country home with you!

Kelsey Shaffer is the daughter of Robert and Rose Martin. She currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Levi. Kelsey is the marketing and event coordinator for Sanlawr Haven, LLC. Much like her parents, Kelsey is easygoing and enjoys the great outdoors. On the weekends, she travels to McConnellsburg to help her parents with the many tasks that the property generously offers. Levi and Kelsey are grateful to have the opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax at her parents' serene estate.
